Beloved Brothers and Sisters,

I bring greetings in the name of our Redeemer and Saviour Jesus Christ.

It is an awesome privilege and honour to greet you all through our Website. Our church in Slough, was established according to God’s will on the 19th of June 2005 with the promise written in Acts 8:8: “There was great joy in that city”. Over the years, Christ has increased His flock, filled every member with great joy and blessed their life abundantly, just as He promised.

The word of God says in Acts 20:28: “Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own

blood.” We believe that God has bought this church by His own divine blood, and we are truly ever-grateful for His amazing grace.

Personally, my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ has been faithful about His covenant and promises towards me. His amazing grace and mercy has sustained me all these years, therefore I praise and thank Him whole-heartedly for His faithfulness. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 3:5, we learn that it isn’t that we ourselves are qualified to claim that anything came from us alone. Our qualification is from God.

I, myself began my early life as an unworthy being and an enemy to God’s work. I led a detestable life in the eye of the Lord. Yet, because He first loved me, He sought and found me. He called me out of darkness into His marvellous light, so that I may proclaim the excellencies of Him. The Apostle Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” Christ has sanctified me with His precious and holy blood; He clothed me with His royal garments of salvation and perfectly covered me with the robe of His righteousness. I praise and thank Him for the awesome privilege of serving Him.

All these years, my fellow co-workers at the church stood with me through thick and thin for thegood work of the
Lord.Isincerely honour and thank my fellow co-workers and the whole churchfor their tireless work in building the Kingdom of God. They have been doers of God’s word, stood firm and have always given themselves fully to the work of the Lord.

As we read in Colossians 3:23-24: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving theLord Christ.” I truly believe that every labour in the Lord will not go in vain and the churchwill receive blessing upon blessing in the days to come. The Lord has promised that, for anyone who gives up anything for the Kingdom of God will certainly receive a hundred times as much in this present age, and in the age to come, eternal life.

I keenly look forward to the oncoming years and beyond for the fulfilment of what God haspromised in Exodus 34:10: “I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will dowonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see howawesome is the work that I, the LORD, will do for you.”

I pray that the Lord increases us a thousand-fold and reveals His grace and power as he has promised to us. In Matthew 5:14, Jesus says: “You are the light of the world… let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”Therefore, as a church, the body of Jesus Christ, we stand together in Christ’s love andcontinue to fulfil our motto ‘let your light shine’ within the community and in this world.
