Our Belief

Our statement of beliefs are the key pillars in which our Church is built upon!
  • We believe that all the 66 books of the Bible, the 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament were inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16) and that the prophecies in it were not uttered by the will of man, but the men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit (2Peter 1:21).
  • The Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God, who was in the beginning the Word of God and He was revealed in the flesh through the womb of Mary. He was crucified on the Cross for the sins of the world, died and rose again on the third day. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God and is interceding with the Father for us. (John 3:16, John 1:1, 1:14, Matthew 1:20, 23, Luke 24:7, Acts 1:9, Romans 8:34, Psalms 110:1, 2John 7).
  • The unity of the One True and Living God who is the Eternal, Self-Existent “I AM”, Who has also revealed Himself as One being co-exiting in three Persons - God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29, Matt 28:19, 2 Cor 13:14)
  • Jesus Christ was both divine and human (Revelation 1:8, Colossians 1: 15,16 John 8:58).
  • The Holy Spirit is a divine person (John 14: 16, 26, John 15:26, John 16:7-8, Ephesians 4:30, Matthew12:31, 32).
  • All men have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23). God has commanded that all men should repent and receive the forgiveness of sins. (Acts 17:30)
  • Jesus was made the sacrifice of atonement for men so that all those who believe in Him may be born again and become the righteousness of God through the blood that He shed on the Cross (Romans 3:25-26, 2Corinthians 5:17, 21, John 3; 3, 5, 6).
  • Those who have been sanctified by the blood of Jesus Christ through believing in Him are being continually sanctified through the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. (1Crinthians 6: 11, John 17:17, revelations 22:11).
  • The people of God should lead a life of holiness. God is holy and He expects his people to be holy. (Leviticus 11:45, 20:26, Matthew 5: 45).
  • The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses our conscience from dead works to serve the living God. (Hebrews 9: 14)
  • The Lord Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners. Those who hear this gospel of salvation and believe are sealed in Him by the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of their inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession to the praise of His glory. (1 Timothy 1;15, Ephesians 1: 13-14).
  • All those who repent and receive the forgiveness of sins should be baptised by immersion in water in the name of the father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
  • The Baptism in the Holy Spirit as an endowment of the believer with power for service, the essential, biblical evidence of which is the speaking with other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 1:4-5, 8, 2:4, 10:44-46, 11:14-16, 19:6)
  • The operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of Christ in the Church today. (1Cor 12:4-11, 28, Eph 4:7-16)
  • Those who believe in Jesus; who is the atoning sacrifice, have received divine healing by His stripes (Isaiah 53:4,5, Matthew 8:17, 1Peter 2:24)
  • Partaking in the breaking of bread and drinking of the wine have been ordained by Jesus to continue till He comes again. (Luke 22:19-20, 1Corinthians 11:23-31).
  • Jesus will come again in the sight of all men just as He was taken up to Heaven and He will reign over the earth along with His saints for a thousand years. (Acts 1:11, John 14:3, 1Thessalonians 4:15-17, Revelations 1:7)
  • The dead in Christ will rise again with a transformed body when He returns and those who believe in Him will be transformed in the twinkling of an eye to be taken up in the clouds with Him and live with Him eternally. The unrighteous and sinners will receive eternal damnation. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1Corinthians 15:35-58, Romans 8:11)
  • We believe that God created man and that He created them male and female. As such He created them different so as to complement and complete each other. God instituted marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. Therefore, we perform marriages in accordance with the Bible consistent with the Old and New Testament. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; Romans 1:18-32; I Corinthians 6:9-11, 6:18-20, 7:1-3; Galatians 5:19-21; Ephesians 5:3-7; 1 Timothy 1:9-11)
